We now have a superb opportunity for a talented individual to join our team at our Bath offices.
The ideal candidate will possess media sales or relevant marketing experience, preferably gained from a quality publisher or similar sales environment.
Well educated, well spoken, you will be personable, conscientious, and enjoy a consultative approach to working with clients, with a real emphasis on great customer service, as well as possessing the drive and ambition to make a valuable contribution to our continued growth.
Main Responsibilities:
- Selling print and online advertising options to a broad range of clients
- Handling advertising enquiries via email and telephone
- Visiting clients and arranging meetings with potential clients.
- Maintaining regular contact, and looking after the best interests of current advertising
- clients as well as servicing previous clients and other accounts on database.
- Working with editorial teams on special features and exploring new ideas and revenue opportunities.Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of relevant media sales (or similar) experience
Must be determined to make a high number of daily calls, as well as corresponding email contact with clients, and comfortable with meeting clients face to face.
Excellent communications, written and spoken and good interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, email.
Knowledge of a customer contact database software such as Filemaker would be good, but not essential.
Be a self-starter with a determined focus on completing projects, and meeting deadlines and setting personal targets and achieving goals.

We also publish The Bristol Magazine, a similarly strong and much loved title, which also appeals to many clients in Bath.
